Dear guests,

We are pleased to welcome you at THE GORDON ARMS Restaurant with Rooms, Yarrow Valley, Scottish Borders, TD7 5LE.

BOOKING / CANCELLATION TERMS

We apologise that cancellation charges have become necessary, especially in the current climate, unfortunately, our experience and the whole industry’s experience dictate this precaution. “THE GORDON ARMS Restaurant with Rooms” is a husband and wife-run small business with a limited number of covers available and our continued success relies on reservations being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any change.

Rooms

We require debit/credit card details for reservations to secure your table with us. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS-compliant vault.

A non-refundable deposit equal to the first night and/or the one-night stay is required.

If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made, unless there is a valid reason for cancellation (documentable travel interruption like a storm, or flight cancellation, for example).

If a booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival, then a charge equal to 75% of the stay will be made, unless there is a valid reason for cancellation.

In the event of a no-show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

However, if we are able to resell your room, we will be happy to waive the charge.

Restaurant

We require debit/credit card details for reservations to secure your table with us. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault.

A cancellation fee of £32.00 per person will be made to your credit / debit card, in the event of less than 72 hours’ notice given of any cancellation, reduction of number of guests or amendments. A fee of £36 per person will be applicable should you no-show for your reservation.

However, if we are able to resell your table to a group of the same size, we will be happy to waive the charge.

 Some additional information:

• If someone from your party has special dietary requirements, please let us know and we’ll adapt the menu for them.
• For tables of six or more guests a 10% service charge will be added to your final bill.
• We kindly expect no individual payments, a maximum of 3 payment cards per table.
• Corkage: we do offer corkage if you’d like to bring in your own wine for which we charge £20 for a bottle and £30 for sparkling or dessert wine bottles.
• Cakeage: if you would like to bring a cake to the restaurant for a special occasion, which you would like served in place of a dessert with our cutlery and plates we charge £3 per person.

By making a reservation at THE GORDON ARMS Restaurant with Rooms you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.
